Maximus is currently looking for a Training Coordinator to join the Maximus team!The Training Coordinator will design, develop, and implement training materials in a classroom-style training environment.The Training Coordinator will work closely with the training leadership team to assess the impact of each training course to ensure trainees are successful.

This is a hybrid-remote position located in New York City, NY and will support our Children and Youth Evaluation Services program (C-YES).

About Children and Youth Evaluation Services:

Maximus has partnered with the New York State Department of Health to establish the Children and Youth Evaluation Service (CYES) program to determine whether a child or youth is eligible for home and community-based services (HCBS) covered by Medicaid. CYES makes eligibility determinations primarily for children and youth aged 0-21 years who have been identified as being Medically Fragile (MDF) or having a Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). CYES Nurse Evaluators conduct conflict-free evaluations of these children and youth to assess their needs for HCBS and develop person-centered plans of care. CYES Family Support Coordinators provide coordination and referral services and assist HCBS-eligible children or youth to apply for Medicaid.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for delivering training programs to various levels of project staff assisting with curriculum development, reviewing course materials, administering assessments and monitoring performance of classroom participants.

- Teach instructional programs in accordance with training or other course requirements and organize materials to be presented.

- Deliver Instructor led training programs as needed to achieve business outcomes.

- Provide administrative support to Training classes and Training Team members, including class rosters, attendance sheets, assessments, test logs, evaluations, etc.

- May assist in scheduling of training sessions and individual onsite and offsite training programs, and supporting, when necessary, the coordination of training room set-up, audio-visual set-up, supplies and participant notification for training events.

- Participate in process and team meetings in order to identify and recommend changes to policies and procedures.

- Follow the regulatory approval and document management process when creating or updating training materials.

- Support Training Specialists in the classroom as needed.

- Compile training evaluations to support ongoing revisions to Training programs.

- Develop and create training resources and maintain/update systems training environment and library of training resources to align with operational excellence.

- Responsible for adhering to established safety standards.

- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required and 0-2 years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- At least 2 years of Call Center Operations or Training experience
- Skillful in navigating through current and new methods of technology to collaborate with colleagues and deliver training
- Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects
- Adept at speaking effectively in interpersonal situations and before groups of people
- Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Preferred Experience:
- 1 year of direct training experience in a human services environment and/or with instructional design and development
- 1 year of CFEEC Project Experience
- Hands on experience with e-learning platforms

- Direct experience utilizing Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams for training

Home Office Requirements:
