Position Overview: The Technical Support Engineer (TSE) for on- site plant product lines plays a critical role in supporting field operations through expert technical guidance and hands-on problem solving. This position is part of a specialized engineering team dedicated to ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient performance of production facilities. The TSE partners closely with operations, engineering, and business teams to troubleshoot plant issues, improve system reliability, support new facility startups, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role also serves as a technical resource for training, best- practice development, and maintenance optimization through the effective use of Enterprise Asset Management tools. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive engineer who excels in communication, collaboration, and driving operational excellence across diverse stakeholders. Primary Responsibilities: The Technical Support Engineer for On Site Plant product lines is part of a small team of engineers providing field operations with a full range of technical support. Some of the TSE's Job duties include: - Troubleshooting plant operations. - Developing and executing projects to optimize the reliability and efficiency of production facilities. - Continuously improving plant operations. - Safe, timely, and successful start-up of new production facilities - Training operations personnel - Maintaining standards, issuing alerts, and communicating best practices. - Utilize the EAM (Enterprise Asset Management system) to determine critical spares and to optimize availability. - Provide feedback to the design/installation engineering team to improve the production facilities designs - Support the business team with new and existing sales opportunities. - Report on KPI's for the On-Site team Qualifications: Educational & Technical Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience). - Minimum 5 years' technical work experience (Engineering or Operations). - PMP Certification is desirable. - Operations experience is desirable. Additional Skill Requirements: Candidate should be a highly organized self-starter with good oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail. Must be able to resolve conflicts within the organization while establishing synergies with all parties involved. Travel up to 25%. Occasionally there are phone calls during off hours.
