What you will enjoy doing*- In this role, you will assist in collecting and analyzing supplier data, purchase orders, and contract terms from various commodity groups
- Further, in conjunction with strategic procurement, commodity managers, buyers, and engineers: you will keep the supplier qualification up to date and anticipate with the registration/qualification process for the suppliers who are expired, not qualified or other pending status for project packages
- You will participate in supplier pool and supplier development plan initiatives
- Additionally, you will support the Buyers and Commodity Managers on supplier Frame Agreement development
- You will also build and maintain supplier databases and procurement dashboards
- Consulting with various departments and business units where needed to fill gaps in datasheets and vendor information is part of your role
- You will be responsible for participating in supplier communications and other requirements
- Further, you will follow procurement standards and quality systems and focuses on compliance with procurement work processes
What makes you great- You are currently pursuing a BS/BA in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
- You have prior internship or coursework in procurement, supply chain, or business analytics preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools is required for this role
- Effective computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), data analysis tools, and procurement software are required for this role
- You have effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and external stakeholders
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills are required for this role
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
