What you will enjoy doing*- You will lead conceptualization, development and economic evaluation of new industrial gas technologies to serve fast-growing markets, such as hydrogen, electronics, batteries, steel and iron
- You will help improve the efficiency, reliability, cost and sustainability of existing and/or new plants producing oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, carbon monoxide and/or carbon dioxide
- Depending upon your skill set and assignment, you will be involved in laboratory-scale and/or pilot-scale experimentation, process modelling, optimization and/or data science
- Collaborate and interface with business, operations and engineering to understand plant requirements for informing design improvements
- You will obtain patents and contribute to intellectual property strategy around key new technologies
- Review state-of-the art developments in gas processing and champion their adoption
- Additionally, you may engage in and lead commercial-scale field demonstrations and/or plant troubleshooting efforts, including interfacing with operators, reading PI& Ds and tailoring test plans to plant capabilities
What makes you great- You will obtain a PhD or thesis Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or Material Science
- You have strong fundamental knowledge in your field with an ability to rapidly learn and apply new skills

The salary for this role is $39.00 - 43.00 USD per hour.
