What you will enjoy doing* (DUTIES)- Responsible for all the strategic sourcing, commercialization, supplier development, purchase, and contract management of assigned rotating equipment.
- Responsible for managing the project within the project teams, as well as support and participate in technical meetings with internal clients and stakeholders to coordinate for specific equipment requirements.
- Establish Key Performance Indexes with Key suppliers to effectively drive supplier behavior and lead supplier measurement process with relevant engineering, operations, and business input.
- Facilitate technical and commercial Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) evaluations with stakeholders.
- Obtain best in class supplier price and delivery performance.
- Perform timely reviews of all proposals and ensure most competitive opportunity is included in capital project proposal estimate.
- Support projects tendering such as selecting bidders, designing contracts, evaluation of risks, negotiating commercial conditions, and price in line with the project execution strategy.
- Use available forecasts, understand, and identify all corresponding risks and opportunities.
- Collect feedback about suppliers and equipment from expediting, construction sites and operations.
- Establish and negotiate local and/or global frame contracts according to product line and commodity management strategy.
- Preparing the strategy for the relevant equipment globally with Strategic Procurement.
- Supporting cross-functional teams for cost reduction initiatives and value analysis as well as implementing savings initiatives in collaboration with Plant Operations.
- Resolution of commercial disputes.
- Aftermarket sourcing for rotating commodity.
- Resolution of critical warranty and back charge recoveries for the business.
What makes you great (REQTS)- Musthave a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering (any), or a related field and three (3) years ofexperience in the job offered or in a related position.
- Employer will acceptone (1) year of additional experience for an unrelated degree.
- Must have three(3) years of experience with: Responsible for strategic sourcing, commercialization, supplier development, purchasing, and contract management ofassigned rotating equipment;
- Maintaining and negotiating local and global frameagreements;
- Selecting bidders, designing contracts, evaluating risks, andnegotiating commercial conditions and prices in line with the project executionstrategy;
- Performing calculations with percentages and decimals, and calculationof percentage values;
- Distinguishing between positive or negative results forthe company during negotiations of prices and/or contracts;
- Maintaining vendorrelationship and internal stakeholder management for smooth execution ofproject requirements;
- Utilizing SAP MM and Ariba system to improve efficiency.
