• You will provide strategic leadership for conceptual engineering activities supporting major gas supply opportunities across the Americas
• Establish and maintain best practices, methodologies, and tools for conceptual design, technology evaluation, and early-stage economic analysis
• Ensure alignment of regional project opportunities with global technology and product strategies
• You will identify emerging technologies and solution approaches that strengthen competitiveness in Air Separation, Hydrogen, and CO₂ markets
• Ensure alignment between the Americas and Global Technology standard scope split and workflows
• Lead the development of integrated plant concepts and gas supply solutions during early project phases
• Oversee the evaluation of production technologies and gas supply options to identify optimal technical and commercial solutions
• Additionally, you will ensure conceptual designs incorporate customer process integration, operational considerations, and lifecycle economics
• Guide the preparation of indicative capital estimates, performance assumptions, and economic evaluations supporting project screening and proposals
• Partner with Business Development, Proposal Gases teams to shape competitive solutions for complex customer opportunities
• Collaborate with Global Technology and Product Management teams to align product offerings with regional project needs
• Also you will coordinate with engineering disciplines to validate process simulations, technical assumptions, and performance models
• Provide technical leadership in strategic customer engagements and project development discussions
• Support technical presentations and participate in client knowledge-acquisition sessions to understand customer operations and requirements
• Translate customer needs into differentiated and technically sound plant concepts
• Lastly you will provide oversight for technical risk evaluation and solution validation across multiple production technologies

What makes you great

• You will have a BS or higher degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline
• 10+ years experience in industrial gas technologies, including Air Separation, Hydrogen, CO₂ processing, or related energy transition technologies
• You will also demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Strong background in conceptual design and techno-economic evaluation
• Proven ability to collaborate across commercial, engineering, and technology organizations

Salary Pay Range: 140, 000USD - 170, 000USD
