What you will enjoy doing*

• You will set up and operate CNC and conventional machining equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders, and drilling machines.
• Further you will interpretengineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions tomanufacture precision components
• In this role you will performfirst-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuringinstruments such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other related equipment
• Troubleshootmachining and tooling issues to minimize downtime and scrap as well as performpreventive maintenance and routine machine care
• Collaboratewith engineering, quality, and production teams to support new productintroductions and process improvements
• Complywith all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations

What makes you great

• A High School Diploma/GED or equivalent is required
• Experience reading and understanding blueprint/mechanical drawings is required
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment operating lathes, mills, and similar equipment preferably in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Further mathematic skills are required in this role
• Proficiencyin using precision measuring equipment and inspection tools
• In addition, you must have basic computer skills
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
