What you will enjoy doing*

• In this role you will operateand maintain metallurgical equipment, including rolling mills, standard andvacuum furnaces, presses, and related instrumentation
• You will executeexperimental test plans, including material preparation, cutting, processing, and microstructural evaluation using optical, digital, and SEM microscopy
• Collaboratewith scientists and engineers to troubleshoot equipment and process issues, refinetest methods, and support continuous improvement activities
• You will recordand organize experimental data with appropriate clarity, accuracy, andtraceability in line with laboratory and regulatory requirements
• Prepareconcise technical summaries, short reports, and PowerPoint presentations tosupport internal reviews and decision-making
• Participatein R& D discussions and project meetings, providing observations and inputon experimental results and process performance
• Followestablished research protocols, safety procedures, and work instructions toensure safe and consistent operation

What makes you great

• You will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, MaterialsScience, or a related technical discipline; equivalent relevant experience maybe considered
• Prior experience supporting hands on R& D projects preferred
• Experiencein metallurgical, materials processing, or industrial laboratory environments
• You should have an understanding of the properties, behavior, andselection of materials to choose the best option for a specific application'sstress, temperature, and environment
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with laboratory data oracquisition systems is an advantage
• Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Abilityto work independently while maintaining alignment with project priorities andtimelines
