Island Therapies is a multidisciplinary therapeutic center that is located in Long Island, NY. A program under Liberty POST, Island Therapies offers a holistic team approach using a variety of interventions for children including Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), Speech/Language Pathology, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Special Education and Assessment based on each child’s individual needs.

Island Therapy is a multidisciplinary therapeutic center based in Long Island, NY Recently Acquired by Liberty POST, Island therapy offers a holistic team approach with a variety of interventions for children with a range of diagnoses and issues including OT, PT, SLP, ABA, Psychotherapy, Education, testing, etc.

Island therapy is currently seeking to hire an experienced TA’s in Suffolk and East Nassau County.

The Teacher Assistant will be working 2 - 5 days per week with a group of children aged 3 to 5 years old.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Prior experience in preschool, child care, early childhood education or elementary school preferred.

License/Certification:

• Early Childhood Education (B-2) Certification preferred.
• Students with Disabilities (B-2) Certification preferred.
• Tier III Teacher’s Assistant Certification.
• CPR and First Aide certification preferred.
