Liberty Resources is currently seeking a Full Time Peer Specialist to work with Apartment Treatment program which serves individuals diagnosed with a mental health diagnosis in Madison County, NY.

Peer Specialist Position Summary
The Peer Support Specialist will work with individuals with serious mental illness, or co-occurring disorders who are homeless to be successful in recovery and in maintaining stable housing across Madison county.
Peer Specialist Job Responsibilities:
Peer Specialist Qualifications:
HS Diploma required and must identify self as a current or former recipient of mental health services with a willingness to share personal experience appropriately and respectfully. Although not a requirement, work experience in a behavioral health or related setting, preferably using the recovery model with one to two years of personal recovery experience, is preferred. It is preferred that the individual is a graduate of the core peer specialist training program and has a respect for, and high level of comfort around people experiencing medical, psychiatric, or substance-related crises.
Pay: $19.23 per hour
