We are looking for a Financial Analyst to help our newly designated Federally Qualified Health Center and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic. What you’ll do as a Financial Analyst (FQHC/CCBHC):

The Financial Analyst-FQHC/CCBHC will assist in managing the Heath Center’s financial position, including accounting in accordance with GAAP, policies, cash position, all applicable internal controls and safeguards of assets, facilitate all accounting and related operating reports to comply with outside reporting requirements and assist in the financial management of the Health Center.

The focus of this position is primarily on financial reporting for the Federally Qualified Health Center and the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), responsible for all financial accounting and reporting, procedures and internal controls.

Financial Analyst Job Responsibilities:

  1. Performs monthly flux analysis of all financial statements for upper management, along with documenting month to month and actual to budget variances to assist in monthly review of financial statements.
  2. Updates the A/P and Revenue/Net Income Dashboard.
  3. Responsible for analyzing quarterly reports to ensure stabilization.
  4. Prepare contract budgets and assist with the annual Agency budget.
  5. Analyzes programs reports and make recommendations on spending to avoid claw-backs and stabilize rates.
  6. Assists with special projects that arise as needed.
  7. Recommends new policies/procedures in order for employees to work more efficiently within the Finance Department.
  8. Reviews documentation and transactions for accuracy, adherence to generally accepted accounting procedures, and compliance with finance department and agency policies and procedures.
  9. Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with employees, consumers, and coworkers to promote a quality service image.
  10. Carries out agency policies and procedures while participating in daily routine of the agency.
  11. Demonstrates the values of diversity, equity and belonging; foster an inclusive environment that facilitates diversity.
  12. Maintains effective professional relationships with other service providers and community organizations.
  13. Attends and participates in individual supervisory conferences, staff meetings, training sessions, special projects and professional development opportunities as required.

Financial Analyst Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; preferably in a fund and/or non-profit sector, or relevant combination of education and experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of Finance or Accounting experience required.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and data
  • Progressive experiences in health care finance is desired; FQHC and/or CCBHC experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Excel and be willing and able to learn various computer applications.
  • Must be detail oriented, flexible and be able to prioritize workload

Pay: $60, 000 to $75, 000
