*This is a hybrid role with 12 days per month onsite in our New York Office at 12 W. 31st St.

Reports To: SVP Brand Creative
Department: Marketing & Creative

Lands' End is seeking a visionary Vice President of Creative to lead and inspire our creative organization across all customer touchpoints—digital, catalog, and retail. This role is responsible for setting the creative direction and ensuring brand consistency while driving innovation and emotional connection with our customers. The VP of Creative will oversee our Art Direction and Photography teams while fostering a collaborative environment that brings the Lands' End brand to life through compelling storytelling and design.

Responsibilities:
Creative Leadership & Vision

  • Define and evolve the creative vision and brand identity across all channels.
  • Champion a customer-first approach to storytelling that reflects Lands' End’s heritage, values, and product promise.
  • Lead the development of seasonal creative strategies that align with business goals and marketing campaigns.

Team Management & Collaboration

  • Inspire, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of art directors, designers, copywriters, and photographers.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, E-commerce, and Retail teams to ensure cohesive brand execution.

Execution & Innovation

  • Oversee the creation of high-impact creative assets for digital (e-commerce, email, social), catalog, and in-store environments.
  • Ensure creative excellence and consistency across all customer touchpoints.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in visual storytelling and content creation.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage creative budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver on-time, on-brand, and on-budget.
  • Implement processes and tools that enhance creative workflow and team productivity.
  • Partner with external agencies and vendors as needed to scale creative output.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Merchandising – to align creative with product strategy and seasonal assortments.
  • Growth & Retention Marketing Leads – to ensure creative supports performance and lifecycle marketing goals.
  • Site UX Lead – to deliver a seamless and brand-right customer experience across digital platforms.

Qualifications:
Experience

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in creative leadership roles, preferably in retail, fashion, or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven track record of leading creative teams across digital, print, and retail environments.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and creative excellence across multiple channels.
  • Experience working with heritage or purpose-driven brands is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or additional certifications in Creative Direction or Brand Strategy is a plus.
