Senior Consultant, Kroll Restructuring Administration

Note: This position is Hybrid in our New York office.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

Project management: Partner with Directors to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner

Team management: Oversee work product for consultants and managing consultants including checking their work for accuracy and flagging to team leaders when the team is at capacity

External communication with clients/professionals: Act as the face of the consulting team, interacting directly with our clients

Noticing and affidavits of service: Promptly/accurately execute complex services and draft associated affidavits of service and exhibits. Quality assurance review of routine services

Creditor matrix and service list compilation and maintenance: Create, import, and maintain creditor data and service lists

Inquiry communication: Manage inquiry logs, including preparing and circulating inquiry logs to client and case professionals, promptly forwarding applicable escalations, and coordinating with Kroll's internal communications team

SOFAs/Schedules: Assist the company with preparation of financial documents to be filed with the court.

Perform Case management system advanced functions

Essential traits:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience

5+ years of work experience, ideally in a client services industry

Strong organization skills and attention to details

Strong knowledge of and experience in working with Excel is required

Excellent written, verbal, and social communication skills highly desired

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to work well within a team environment and manage other individuals

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent release cycles and rapidly changing priorities

Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate within a multi-disciplined team, across multiple locations and time zones, and to interact with demanding business users.

Ability to remove obstacles and influence others to move projects forward

Flexibility with work schedule is a must - including working overtime as required

Legal, financial or technology industry background a plus

Salary Range for this role is $100, 000 - $120, 000 USD

#LI-MM1As a member of the consulting team, you will be helping guide clients through the chapter 11 process, most notably through noticing and claims administration, in addition to hosting public facing websites. This is a management position with potential for growth and significant client contact.Successful employees in this role may grow to be the next leaders of the client services team.The ideal candidate will be a proactive and meticulous critical thinker, willing to work long hours, as necessary. Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel are required.
