Enterprise Application Leader
• Location: [Insert Location / Remote / Hybrid]
• Reports to: Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Role Summary
The Head of Enterprise Applications is accountable for the strategy, governance, and performance of enterprise-wide applications that support the firm's core business functions, including finance, client relationship management, and human capital management. Operating within a globally distributed professional services firm of 6, 500+ employees, this role will oversee critical systems such as Microsoft Dynamics (ERP), Oracle (HCM/Finance), ServiceNow and Salesforce (CRM) to enable operational excellence, scalability, and innovation across regions. Automation for the firm will also be managed by the Enterprise Application Leader. Driving productivity, efficiency and working closely with AI solutions, vendors and partners.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
• Develop and execute a multi-year enterprise applications strategy aligned to global business priorities.
• Drive the roadmap, investment, and modernization of key platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, and Salesforce.
• Ensure applications support a flexible, cloud-first architecture that can scale across geographies and service lines.
• Enterprise Application Management
• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of:
• Microsoft Dynamics for finance, project accounting, and operational management.
• Oracle for HCM and financials.
• Salesforce for business development, client engagement, and pipeline visibility.
• Ensure systems meet compliance, security, data privacy, and audit requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOC2).
• Oversee system performance, integration, and lifecycle management for enterprise platforms.
Global Stakeholder Engagement
• Partner with global and regional business leaders to gather requirements, set priorities, and deliver solutions that meet diverse user needs.
• Facilitate cross-functional governance to align initiatives with firm-wide strategic and operational goals.
• Drive change management and adoption initiatives to maximize value from application investments.
Delivery & Optimization
• Oversee global implementations, upgrades, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems.
• Ensure timely support, issue resolution, and enhancements in partnership with global IT and business teams.
• Integrate enterprise platforms into a cohesive digital ecosystem through modern APIs and middleware.
People & Vendor Leadership
• Lead a globally distributed team of analysts, solution architects, and technical support professionals.
• Manage relationships with key vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, and implementation partners).
• Build internal capabilities in cloud solutions, agile delivery, and application governance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or master's preferred).
10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise application leadership in a global, matrixed organization.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, and Salesforce platforms.
Demonstrated success delivering large-scale application implementations, upgrades, and integration projects.
Deep understanding of cloud architectures, SaaS models, and cross-platform interoperability.
Knowledge of regulatory, privacy, and data residency requirements in a multi-jurisdictional setting.
Preferred Competencies
Strong business acumen with experience supporting consulting, legal, accounting, or other professional services operations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures and geographies.
Track record of driving user adoption and delivering measurable business outcomes through enterprise technology.
