Job Description: The Life Insurance Product Development and Management role will report to the Head of Life Insurance Product Development and Management and will support the implementation and product roll-out and maintenance of Life Insurance products across the lines of businesses (LoBs) within Wealth Management at JPMorganChase; Chase Wealth Management, JPMorgan Advisors, and US Private Bank. This will entail product onboarding, product management, along with managing carrier and vendor relationships and serving as a life insurance subject matter expert around both tactical and strategic initiatives related to the life insurance program. The candidate should be a self-starter, execution-focused and have the ability to drive tasks, projects and initiatives end-to-end. The ability to influence and work across LoBs and across function (including sales, technology, operations, marketing, legal, risk, compliance, controls, supervision) is paramount in delivering a world-class offering and client experience.
Job Responsibilities: - Lead product governance (e.g., product due diligence, product management and maintenance) for products on JPMC platform
- Support product governance for new products being onboarded to platform, which include product due diligence, product selection, onboarding, along with on-going product management
- Work closely with carrier relationship management team to establish and maintain strong relationships with our carrier partners and ensure alignment on both tactical and strategic goals
- Partner with sales teams across lines of businesses to ensure we continue to offer best-in-class solutions and expert insights for our clients across the entire wealth spectrum by supporting the ongoing review of product pipeline and approval process, as needed
- Support proactive partnership with Insurance Specialists and Business Development team to maintain awareness of the life insurance solution suite (including product education), promote product launches and updates, and support the practice
- Support on-going assessment and review of carriers and products on the platform, along with emerging trends in industry
- Serve as delivery manager for subscription services that provide industry news, benchmarking, and insights
- Partner with Compliance & Supervision to ensure policy and procedures are consistently up-to-date
- Business analysis throughout life distribution cycle
- Data analysis and reporting on various life insurance distribution activities, leveraging dashboards
- Partner closely with Marketing Manager on life insurance intranet management
- Work closely with training teams to focus on evergreen reviews of existing trainings and development of new trainings, as needed
- Drive development and maintenance of life insurance product tools and resources to support various teams
- Training, marketing, communication and content support
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities: - 5 years of experience in financial services, with deep subject matter expertise across all life insurance solutions (e.g., Term, Single Premium Life, Hybrid LTC, UL, IUL, VUL and WL)
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, and must be strong in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent relationship building, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong initiative, energy and confidence completing tasks and projects with limited supervision
- Superior multi-tasking and organization skills in a fast-paced high pressure team environment
- High attention to detail and results oriented
- The ability to be a dynamic member of the team
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities: - 5 years of experience of product management and/or project management
