Join our Global Research team as an Analyst, where you will play a crucial role in framing and presenting JPMorgan's comprehensive view across a diverse range of asset classes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with senior researchers across various projects.

Job Summary:

As a Research Analyst, you will focus on supporting the development and presentation of strategic and tactical views across various products, markets, and jurisdictions. You will be part of the Global Markets Strategy team. Your role will involve collaborating with senior strategists to identify and present tactical and strategic opportunities. Critical thinking will be essential in evaluating the implications of topical drivers of financial markets, including political and geopolitical risks and idiosyncratic market stress events.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Research and concisely summarize JPMorgan's broad views.
  • Collaborate with global market strategists to facilitate communication around evolving views and outlooks in response to changing macroeconomic conditions.
  • Develop a framework to assess valuations across various asset classes based on macroeconomic indicators or other market factors.
  • Focus on ad hoc thematic research projects


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial markets with a solid understanding of the interaction between macro data, geopolitical events, and market pricing.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A bachelor's degree in economics, finance, science or a related field is required, with coursework in quantitative disciplines (statistics, econometrics) strongly preferred.
  • Strong data analysis and programming skills.
  • Genuine interest for the interaction between macroeconomic outlooks, geopolitical dynamics and financial markets."
