As a Trading Services Associate within the Prime Finance Trading Services Team, you will ensure that all trades are accurately entered into the Risk Management systems and perform essential start-of-day and end-of-day controls. You will liaise with various teams to address issues related to Cash Equity trades, ensuring that trade capture and reporting exceptions are managed effectively. Your role is vital in maintaining the integrity of our trading processes and supporting the firm's strategic initiatives.

Job responsibilities
  • Ensure trades are accurately entered into Risk Management systems.
  • Perform start-of-day and end-of-day controls for Front Office risk representation.
  • Verify, clear, and escalate trade capture and reporting exceptions.
  • Liaise with Front Office \"FO\", Middle Office \"MO\", and Back Office \"BO\" Teams on Cash Equity trade issues.
  • Manage daily trade life cycle events (expiries, dividends, corporate actions).
  • Improve pre- and post-trade controls environment.
  • Maximize trade processing Stop Payment System \"STP\" through problem-solving and analysis.
  • Produce analysis for trading desks and senior management.
  • Provide input into core projects, including regulatory and operational programs.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Strong knowledge of security and derivative products.
  • Minimum of two years of operational or line experience.
  • Self-motivated with initiative.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Control-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • BA or BS degree.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Understanding of Equity Swaps, Cash Equities, and Derivative products.
  • Experience supporting Trading Desks in Prime/Hedge Fund business.
  • Confidence in communicating with senior managers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with risk management systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong work ethic and adaptability to business needs.
