Join JPMorgan Chase as an Associate in our dynamic Capital Management team within the Treasury and Chief Investment Office (TCIO), where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of one of the world's leading financial institutions. TCIO is at the heart of managing the firm's balance sheet strategy to ensure the firm achieves its capital, liquidity, and interest rate targets while growing shareholder value.

As an Associate on the Capital Management team, you will collaborate with a diverse range of JPMC functions, including the Operating Committee, Firmwide P& A, Risk, Policy, Government Relations, and key Line of Business partners to provide instrumental insights on regulatory capital-related topics and ensuring the efficient and strategic management of capital. The ability to pick up new and complex concepts quickly, work efficiently, and communicate effectively will be one of the keys to success.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop materials utilized by the C-Suite and senior management to help provide perspective on high profile capital-related topics (e.g., Basel 3 Endgame, GSIB)
  • Aid in data preparation for external and internal events/conferences (e.g., Investor Day)
  • Curate newsletters and manage several Tableau dashboards which provide insights into key capital topics and track peer performance to an audience of 500+ colleagues
  • Become proficient in systems such as Capital IQ for competitor research, financial analysis, and other ad-hoc requests
  • Provide analytical support to the firmwide capital forecast, equity allocation, and related capital processes within the Capital Management team
  • Partner with various functions across TCIO, Firmwide, and LOBs to execute and track strategic projects
  • Support initiatives to continually improve existing capital management processes and enhance the team's understanding of capital

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, economics, sciences, or engineering
  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint and Excel in particular)
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills; adept at multitasking in fast-paced environments
  • Able to manage projects end-to-end with a high degree of autonomy
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
  • Prior knowledge in regulatory capital is a plus
  • Experience with Python is a plus
  • Experience with Tableau preferred.
