As a Senior Associate in the Alternative Investments Data Strategy & Operations group, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing hedge fund of funds data operations. You will partner with us to improve processes, execute strategic initiatives, and design solutions that help our teams operate more effectively. You'll work with complex workflows and leverage technology to drive better outcomes for our business. Job responsibilities
  • Perform core hedge fund of funds data operations activities, supporting fund and account onboarding, maintenance and validation of critical investment and reference of data and issue resolution across investment, trading, and performance reporting workflows
  • Partner with senior leadership to translate priorities into actionable execution focus areas, insights, and decision-support materials
  • Develop analytical views and insights to surface work drivers, capacity, efficiency, and improvement opportunities
  • Apply technical and analytical skills, such as SQL, Python, Tableau, automation, and AI-enabled approaches, to design and implement solutions
  • Synthesize complex initiatives, inputs, and metrics across teams into clear, coherent views
  • Design approaches that enhance visibility, consistency, and execution across operational and technology-related efforts
  • Flex across responsibilities, balancing core operational work with broader execution and improvement initiatives
  • Engage in complex or ambiguous initiatives, bringing energy, judgment, and follow-through to undefined problems

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Six or more years of combined experience within investment operations, data operations, or an operationally adjacent function within the hedge fund or alternative investments industry
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of end-to-end operational data flows that support the investment lifecycle, including how upstream data decisions impact downstream reporting, controls, and decision making
  • Exhibit execution-oriented problem-solving experience, including diagnosing root causes, developing practical solutions, and following through to implementation in real operating environments
  • Operate across multiple stakeholders and priorities, driving work forward in environments with shifting requirements, tight timelines, and competing demands
  • Apply analytical insights to understand operational work drivers, assess capacity or throughput, and identify efficiency or improvement opportunities
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to drive alignment and execution.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Hands-on experience with data analytics, automation, or AI-enabled tools (SQL, Python, Tableau, Alteryx, or automation platforms)
  • Familiarity with data governance principles, including data quality, controls, lineage, and documentation
  • Experience designing analytical views, dashboards, or operational solutions to improve efficiency and insight
  • Exposure to process improvement, operational enablement, or transformation initiatives
  • Interest in building scalable approaches and tools that improve execution and decision-making
  • Ability to synthesize complex operational, technical, or data concepts into clear, well-structured presentations for varied stakeholders
