ABS Originations sits at the intersection of Corporate Finance and Markets. The work is fast-paced, demanding, and highly stimulating, with a continuous learning curve. We're a collaborative, intellectually curious team that analyzes, models, and structures innovative client financing solutions across the Americas.

We are seeking an Associate with strong quantitative and analytical capabilities to support our U.S. activities and contribute to our expanding presence in Latin America. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in financial modeling, data analysis, and structured finance concepts, with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure in a team environment.

You will assume a meaningful level of responsibility early on, requiring adaptability, independent project management, and comfort engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with senior team members and have direct interaction with clients, coverage teams, credit colleagues, rating agencies, legal counsel, investors, and others. There will be ample developmental opportunities through hands-on assignments, training, and mentoring to help you build deep expertise in structured finance and client origination.
Job responsibilities
  • Analyze new opportunities by reviewing data tapes and loan performance histories, identifying trends, and building portfolio cash flow models and ABS structure models across asset classes and jurisdictions.
  • Support origination, structuring, pricing, and execution of ABS transactions, including loan portfolio purchases and forward-flow arrangements, and private real-estate financing strategies.
  • Contribute to private ABS financings for clients across Latin America and Canada.
  • Participate in transactions end-to-end, from pitching and due diligence through execution and ongoing portfolio management.
  • Assist in portfolio surveillance and risk/position management, including marking, hedging, and P& L tracking.
  • Prepare presentations, term sheets, and marketing materials; support pitches and client engagement.
  • Coordinate with internal partners and external counterparties to drive efficient execution and develop expertise across asset classes, structures, and jurisdictions.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 2-4 years of securitization-related or structured finance experience.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including ability to analyze/interpret data, detect trends, and assess impacts to execution and valuations.
  • Ability to model ABS structures and understand value creation through liability structures.
  • Proficiency with structured finance rating agency methodologies; Intex experience expected.
  • Ability to tailor workable solutions across accounting, corporate finance, bank capital, tax, legal, and other market considerations.
  • High motivation and commercial mindset; ability to manage priorities with urgency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude, determination to deliver end-to-end, and genuine intellectual curiosity about products and markets.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Expertise in Python or another programming language.
  • Excellent writing, research, and verbal presentation skills; ability to synthesize and communicate complex analyses clearly.
  • Business proficiency in Spanish (preferred, not required).
  • Strong teamwork, organization, and proactive prioritization skills when working across diverse stakeholders.
