JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. is hiring a Risk Management - Stress Testing - Senior Associate in Brooklyn, NY. This is a full-time position.

As a Stress Testing Lead Senior Associate in Firmwide Risk and Compliance team, you will support the development of operational risk estimation methodologies and the execution of operational risk scenario analysis that informs stress testing and senior-level decisions. You partner with executives, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to structure scenarios, quantify risk drivers, and assess outcomes using data-driven and expert-informed approaches. You help us enhance analytical tools, strengthen governance and controls, and translate complex results into clear insights that support responsible risk management.

Job responsibilities:
  • Support development and enhancement of operational risk scenario analysis quantification methodologies
  • Structure operational risk scenarios and estimate key risk drivers such as exposure, impact, and occurrence
  • Analyze scenario outcomes using data-driven approaches and subject matter expert inputs
  • Partner with lines of business, risk identification teams, operational risk officers, model risk, legal, and other stakeholders to gather inputs and challenge assumptions
  • Support model risk activities, including documentation, validation reviews, issue remediation, and governance
  • Develop and improve analytical tools and models supporting scenario analysis and stress testing programs
  • Perform sensitivity analysis, benchmarking, back-testing, and output reasonableness assessments
  • Explore machine learning and GenAI-enabled approaches for scenario analysis, risk taxonomy, and unstructured data use cases
  • Identify automation opportunities to improve scalability, strengthen controls, and enhance transparency
  • Translate quantitative and risk concepts into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, analytical, technical, financial, or related discipline
  • 3 years plus of experience in data analytics, quantitative analysis, model development, risk analytics, operational risk, stress testing, or a related field
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with sound business judgment
  • Experience developing or supporting analytical models, estimation methods, dashboards, automated workflows, or data-driven tools
  • Proficiency with Python, R, SQL, Spark, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with statistical modeling, sensitivity analysis, benchmarking, back-testing, and output reasonableness assessments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional partners

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative discipline
  • Financial services experience in risk management, operational risk, stress testing, scenario analysis, model development, model risk management, or regulatory analytics
  • Working knowledge of GenAI, machine learning, large language model applications, and unstructured
