As a Product Manager in Global Technical Security, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for using innovative and emerging technologies to solve complex problems and work on multi year multi million dollar initiatives around security products. This role requires strong understanding of product ideation, funding, planning, implementation and execution including the ability to influence and present to very senior stakeholders.
Job responsibilities- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value
- Manages discovery efforts and research to uncover solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Craft exciting, polished, and articulate presentations for senior executives on new technologies
- Works to identify new products and vendors in the technical security space that can solve existing business challenges
- Partners with key security center operations staff and physical security to ensure technical products scale and are functioning to operational standards
- Close partnership with security personnel responsible for day to day operations of our headquarters and midtown campuses to proactively identify and address evolving security needs
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with ability to synthesize large data sets into tailored stories
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Skilled in cross-functional team collaboration and performing in matrixed leadership environments
- Ability to think quickly and react in high pressure situations
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Knowledge of technology systems (video, access control, intrusion) and basic IT networking and infrastructure design
- Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, engineering, or other technology related field or related experiences
