Job Description
JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. is hiring a Product Controller, Vice President in Brooklyn, NY. This is a full-time position.
Help deliver the financial clarity that powers day-to-day trading and business decisions. In this role, you'll own core profit and loss and risk reporting and translate results into actionable insights for senior stakeholders. You'll strengthen controls, help support new business activity, and partner across teams to resolve issues quickly and accurately. You'll join a collaborative group that values precision, ownership, and continuous improvement. You'll have opportunities to broaden your exposure through cross-business projects and initiatives.
As a Product Controller in the Product Control team, you will support accurate profit and loss, balance sheet, and close processes for the business. You will produce daily reporting and deliver analysis that helps leaders understand performance and risk drivers. You will partner with stakeholders to enhance controls and support business initiatives. You will coordinate across functions to resolve reporting and control issues in a timely manner. You will contribute to a team culture focused on quality, accountability, and partnership.
Job responsibilities
• Produce and report daily profit and loss and risk measures in line with established processes and controls.
• Prepare financial reporting and analysis for desk heads, business managers, and senior finance stakeholders.
• Analyze drivers, trends, and variances and communicate insights in a clear, concise manner.
• Partner with the business to implement robust controls and support new business initiatives.
• Coordinate with front-office and back-office partners to resolve control and reporting issues accurately and on time.
• Support month-end close activities, including documentation and issue management.
• Provide analytical support for projects and initiatives within Product Control.
• Respond to daily ad hoc requests and time-sensitive deliverables.
• Track, prioritize, and deliver initiatives related to reporting, controls, and process improvements.
• Contribute to cross-business programs as needed.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience producing or reviewing profit and loss reporting and related analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and a control-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
