We're looking for a strategic communicator to join the JPMorganChase's Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) Communications Team.
As a Media Relations Manager Vice President within JPMorganChase's Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) Communications Team, you will support the external communications efforts of the Chief Data & Analytics Office, which includes the development and execution of proactive media relations campaigns, as well as crafting strategic messaging that effectively tells our AI and data story. You will also collaborate with line of business and corporate function communications partners to ensure consistent messaging on our AI and data efforts and help track activities to paint a firmwide picture of coverage.
Job responsibilities: - Raise the visibility and awareness of JPMorganChase's AI and data efforts, positioning the firm as a leader in the industry and with key influencers
- Identify opportunities to tell the firm's AI and data story, as well as manage incoming requests
- Deploy strategies to target key media outlets that reach key audiences
- Establish, maintain and deepen relationships with key media outlets
- Serve as counsel to our spokespeople and partners on media, reputation and communications strategy
- Draft and edit communications materials, including strategic messaging and talking points
- Engage social media channels to amplify key messages
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or relevant field of study
- 7+years of experience in media relations or public relations within the technology/fintech industries, with deep knowledge of and relationships with media in related landscape
- Demonstrated experience in creating tailored messaging
- Ability to think across channels to effectively syndicate key messages
- Strong interpersonal, networking and presentation skills, creativity and ability to generate new ideas
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues across lines of business and functions
- Ability to manage large-scale, complex projects with discipline, speed, flexibility, adaptability and precision.
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently
