At J.P. Morgan Asset Management, you will help shape how digital data powers decisions across our business. You will join a collaborative, data-driven team that is modernizing how we measure, understand and optimize client experiences across our digital ecosystem.
As a Marketing Delivery Lead, Vice President - Web Analytics & Data in the Digital Performance team, you will own the end-to-end web analytics product strategy across public websites, mobile applications and advisor-facing tools. You will bring together business stakeholders, product managers, engineering teams, Business Intelligence partners and an external analytics agency to ensure that digital data collection is accurate, scalable and actionable. You will combine deep technical knowledge of digital tracking with strategic thinking to translate data into insights and drive continuous improvement in digital performance. You will also help shape and scale AI-powered web data solutions that deliver predictive and intelligent analytics to the business.
You combine strategic thinking with a strong technical foundation in digital measurement. You are comfortable writing detailed tracking and data layer specifications, simplifying complex analytics concepts for senior stakeholders and partnering with BI and AI teams to build new data-driven capabilities. You are organized, collaborative and able to influence across functions, and you set a high bar for yourself and for external partners in delivering high-quality analytics solutions.
Job responsibilities - Define and own the web analytics product roadmap, aligning data collection and reporting capabilities with broader business goals and digital KPIs, and acting as the web analytics subject matter expert.
- Partner with marketing, digital and product teams to establish measurement frameworks and tracking models that support decision making.
- Author and maintain comprehensive technical tracking requirements for web, mobile app and advisor tool environments, including event taxonomies, data layer specifications and tagging standards.
- Conduct QA and validation of tracking implementations to ensure data accuracy and integrity across all digital properties.
- Stay current on browser privacy changes, cookie deprecation and consent management frameworks, and adjust tracking strategies to remain compliant and resilient.
- Manage the day to day relationship with the external web analytics agency, including briefing on requirements, setting delivery timelines and holding the agency accountable for quality and deadlines.
- Review and approve agency deliverables to ensure implementations align with J.P. Morgan Asset Management data governance and compliance standards.
- Pull, interpret and present performance reports for websites and apps using Google Analytics and other analytics platforms, translating data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve digital conversion, engagement and user experience by surfacing trends, anomalies and optimization opportunities from analytics data.
- Collaborate closely with Business Intelligence and data science teams to design and scale AI powered web data solutions, including predictive analytics, opportunity identification and automated optimization recommendations.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills - 5+ years of experience in digital analytics, web analytics or analytics product management.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Google Analytics (GA4) and tag management platforms.
- Strong experience writing technical tracking specifications for websites, mobile applications and complex digital tools.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret web performance data and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing external vendors or agencies, including scoping work, managing timelines and ensuring quality delivery.
- Solid understanding of data layer architecture, event tracking and digital measurement frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience partnering with data science or BI teams on analytics solutions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
- Hands-on experience with AI or machine learning tools applied to web data.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (such as GDPR and CCPA) and their implications for digital tracking.
- Familiarity with BI and data visualization tools.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics in addition to Google Analytics.
