DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Conduct research and analysis on different scenarios, asset classes, and investment products in order to provide investment advice and solutions to high net worth individuals in Latin American countries. Develop investment policy statements, conduct investment reviews with clients, and provide advice on asset allocation and markets insights, using the Spanish language to communicate with clients. Support sales efforts made by senior investors. Assist bankers to win new clients and strengthen existing client relationships by speaking clients' native Spanish. Assist with trade idea generation and execution across asset classes and lines of business (LOBs). Conduct investment reviews in Spanish to validate the clients' current investment objectives, and prepare written recommendations (in the Spanish language) for appropriate investment products. Develop investment policy statements and advise on asset allocation. Close sales of complex investment products. Support coordination of sales effort with Capital Advisors, Trust Officers, and Wealth Advisors. Focus on qualified purchaser clients and act as primary resource for investment communication. Build working relationships with internal clients. Adhere to internal and external policies and procedures regarding securities transactions and code of conduct. Provide guidance to junior staff. This position requires up to 20% domestic and international travel to LATAM countries including Colombia, Panamá, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, and El Salvador, in order to visit various client sites and JPMorgan offices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Specialist/Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills: articulating financial planning strategies and investment solutions to current and prospective high net worth clients in Latin American countries; private banking services including investments, mortgages, loans and trust and estates; constructing private banking client profiles and wealth portfolios based on current economic conditions; global practices within the private banking industry; cross-border banking regulations and laws applied to financial planning; analyzing legal documents related to finance and estate planning in Latin American countries, in accordance with the respective countries' laws and regulations; Know Your Customer (KYC) industry-wide practices; endowment and foundation clients and operations; creating presentations for clients using Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat PDF Pro; running portfolio analysis and financial modeling using Microsoft Excel; accessing economic news, financial market data/analytics, and price quotes using Bloomberg Terminal; internal pricing tools; comparing potential allocation strategies and generating multi-period projections based on complex market conditions using Monte Carlo Simulation analysis; and VBA programming. This position requires oral, auditory, and written fluency in the Spanish language. This position requires the following license(s): Series 7; SIE; and Series 63.

Job Location: 270 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10017. This position requires up to 20% domestic and international travel to LATAM countries including Colombia, Panamá, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, and El Salvador, in order to visit various client sites and JPMorgan offices.

Full-Time. Salary: $155, 000-$160, 000 per year.
