Global Security protects the firm's employees and assets throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, security guard management and alarm response, incident management, corporate building security and customer/visitor/client safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety, executive protection, pre-employment screening, security operations on a global basis, and fraud Investigations.
As a Building Security Operations Center Lead in Global Security, you will be essential in supervising and directing the operations of the Building Security Operations Center (BSOC), operating 24x7x365 safeguarding the security and integrity of the organization's information systems.
Job Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily functions of the Security Operations Center, managing building operations, handling visitor management, and coordinating guard deployments.
- Lead a team of security analysts to orchestrate incident response efforts, and ensure the organization's information assets are effectively monitored and protected.
- Utilize security technologies, including cameras and access control systems, to enhance surveillance and control access to facilities.
- Monitor security cameras and alarms to identify and address suspicious activities.
- Manage incident response: Quickly handle security incidents and coordinate with on-site personnel and emergency services.
- Oversee systems to ensure only authorized access to restricted areas.
- Keep clear communication with security teams, management, and external agencies.
- Record and report security incidents and breaches for accurate documentation.
- Operate and troubleshoot security equipment to ensure proper functioning
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 6+ years of experience in a security management, security operations center management, or demonstrably similar, domain
- Able to establish trust, foster inclusive environments and foster enduring relationships across a broad and diverse global team.
- Able to follow procedures, processes and practices in order to ensure control framework is followed, and risk & compliance obligations are met.
- Able to identify team priorities and requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Regular Monday to Friday day shift, with the flexibility and willingness to work extended hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays, as needed. On-call availability for emergencies.
