J.P. Morgan is seeking talented candidates for the Chief Analytics Office (CAO) of the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB).
The CIB CAO is responsible for accelerating the Analytics agenda globally across Markets Trading, Sales & Research, Payments, Securities Services, and Global Banking-driving the integration of advanced analytics and AI into business strategies to deliver measurable commercial impact.
The responsibilities of the Chief Analytics Office include advancing both traditional AI/ML and generative AI capabilities, identifying priorities and focusing on high-impact AI use cases, setting the GenAI strategy around LLMs and Agentic AI, reusing and scaling AI solutions across lines of business, fostering a culture of innovation and an AI-first mindset among employees.
As a GenAI Enablement Lead - Vice President within the Chief Analytics Office of the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will be tasked with the development of AI strategy, specifically focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs). Your role will involve contributing to the strategy for the Commercial & Investment Bank's AI and Machine Learning initiatives, promoting the bank's adoption of GenAI, and providing client advisory on the topic of GenAI to key Commercial & Investment Bank clients. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence and shape the strategic agenda for GenAI adoption and lead the deployment of JPM's GenAI products within the Commercial & Investment Bank. You will acquire highly technical expertise in Data, AI, and Machine Learning, and hone your problem-solving and communication skills. Additionally, you will be expected to identify emerging trends before they become widely adopted in the market, and stay updated on competitor strategies and new technologies as the AI landscape continues to evolve.
Job responsibilities - Develop technical expertise in GenAI, specifically to become an SME on LLMs and Agents
- Critically assess GenAI products and influence the product roadmap
- Define and deconstruct complex problems that can be solved through GenAI and identify key priority CIB use cases
- Provide thought leadership on GenAI & LLMs to key CIB clients
- Assimilate information and providesynthesised views for senior management
- Identify emerging trends ahead of broader market adoption
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills - Driven with a strategic and curious mindset and keen to continuously learn
- Prior experience with and knowledge of GenAI required, including LLMs, Prompt Engineering and agentic framework
- Outstanding ability to analyse problems and apply quantitative analytical approaches with excellent attention to detail
- Strong verbal/written skills; ability to communicate effectively with management
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills - Experience or understanding of Financial Services
- BSc or MSc degree in relevant field (e.g. Computer Science)
- Knowledge of Python, orchestration frameworks
