Our Mission

The Digital Private Markets business is a fast-growing global team within J.P. Morgan's Corporate & Investment Bank. Our first product, Capital Connect, is a high-profile and exciting new fintech business for the firm, focused on early-stage private markets. This is a members-only ecosystem for start-ups and institutional investors to network, raise/invest capital and access exclusive data and content.

We are presently looking to bring onboard an experienced product leader looking to make an immediate impact and join us in our mission to transform the private capital markets.

In this role, you will:
  • Define and own the product roadmap for the platform's offerings in partnership with clients and senior internal stakeholders
  • Hypothesize and validate key value propositions, establish clear KPIs based on the deliverable(s) and develop scalable processes to measure user/product/business impact
  • Proactively identify and communicate any risks and resolutions to senior stakeholders
  • Monitor ongoing development of the assigned product stream with data and clear SLAs, SLOs and SLIs to inform decision making
  • Think like an entrepreneur and be comfortable wearing many hats with minimal direction

Essentials
  • In-depth knowledge of the B2B financial technology landscape. Experience encompassing private capital markets/venture capital technology is strongly preferred .
  • 8+ years of agile-based product management experience building and scaling software products combined with strong business/economic awareness
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully executing across all stages of the product lifecycle - From ideation, gathering feedback, developing feature lists, defining acceptance criteria, testing, adoption and retention
  • Experience mentoring and leading cross-functional teams of VPs, associates and analysts either as a manager or as a senior team-member
  • The ability to navigate a matrixed organization and influence peers by articulating the product offering and value to business partners
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successfully navigate ambiguity and complexity
