Job summary: As an Associate Trader in the Credit Portfolio Group, you will be responsible for executing loan sales and derivative hedging strategies. You will conduct pre- and post-trade checks, analyze risk positions, maintain credit curves, and communicate market developments. Your role is crucial in supporting the team's credit strategies and ensuring effective execution.
Job responsibilities: - Execute loan sales and derivative hedging strategies.
- Conduct pre- and post-trade checks.
- Analyze and reconcile risk positions.
- Maintain and reconcile credit curves (shadow loan pricing).
- Review and sign-off on risk and P& L reports.
- Communicate market developments to management and team members.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Minimum 1 year of experience in a trading or sales role; credit analysis experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Current knowledge of loan and CDS products.
- Excellent quantitative skills, educated to degree level.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel; Python knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Credit analysis experience is a plus.
