Join J.P. Morgan's Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) as a Vice President in the Cross Asset Latam Structuring team. You'll be part of a dynamic group specialized in bespoke derivatives and financing solutions for corporate, institutional, and sovereign clients across Latin America.

The Cross Asset Latam Structuring team collaborates closely with Latin America Sales, Trading, and Banking teams to originate, structure, and execute tailored solutions in derivatives and financing. You'll also interact frequently with internal partners in Credit, Legal, Tax, Finance, and Operations.

Key responsibilities
  • Originate, structure, and execute structured derivatives and financing transactions in partnership with internal teams
  • Manage the deal execution process, including pricing, documentation, booking, and accounting
  • Travel to Latin America to meet clients and support origination efforts
  • Develop innovative solutions aligned with client needs and compliant with local legal, accounting, and tax regulations


Required skills
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in structured derivatives and/or financing solutions
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and assess derivatives opportunities, considering the legal and tax restrictions
  • Solid understanding of derivatives pricing, risk management, and balance sheet/capital implications
  • Ability to prepare term sheets, client presentations, and negotiate legal documentation
  • Experience in obtaining internal approvals from credit and market risk committees as part of deal due diligence
  • Knowledge of legal and tax restrictions related to derivatives transactions in Latin America
  • Strong communication skill / Spanish speaking is a plus
