We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Brand Strategy -Senior Associate, to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting the firm-wide brand strategy and execution across our three flagship brands: JPMorgan Chase & Co., JPMorgan, and Chase. Reporting directly to the VP, Brand Strategy/Chief of Staff to the Chief Brand Officer, you will work closely with the Chief Brand Officer and Brand leadership team to drive the successful execution of our brand vision, priorities, operations, and performance.
As the Brand Strategy-Senior Associate on the Brand Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and ensuring seamless execution across the Brand and larger Marketing teams. Your day involves managing cross-functional projects, streamlining operations, and acting as a key communication link between leadership, internal teams, and external partners. You will assist in overseeing executive-level deliverables, driving key priority projects forward, and supporting process improvements, & you help bring the brand vision to life and ensure alignment with strategic goals. This work is essential for maintaining operational excellence, fostering collaboration, and amplifying the impact of the Brand team across the organization.
Job responsibilities - Assist the Chief of Staff in developing and implementing strategic initiatives that align with the Brand and Marketing teams' goals and objectives.
- Support cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with key brand strategies. Track progress and report on key milestones.
- Act as a conduit for communication between the Chief Brand Officer, internal teams, and external stakeholders. Prepare briefing materials and presentations for meetings.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Brand Office operations.
- Oversee campaign calendaring and collaborate with internal and agency resources to bring the brand vision to life.
- Establish priorities and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the Brand team and monitor execution to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Prepare executive presentations for the Chief Brand Officer, including monthly business reviews and leadership presentations.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Brand Leadership, cross-functional partners, and lines of business.
- Assist in communications for the Chief Brand Officer, including internal and external speaking engagements and meeting preparation.
- Independently manage multiple projects and workstreams concurrently, ensuring flawless execution and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with the CBO Executive Administrative Assistant to prioritize meetings and reviews based on known Brand priorities.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills - Bachelor's Degree required.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Brand, Marketing, or Project Management.
- Proven track record as a self-starter, capable of translating high-level objectives into actionable steps.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create executive-level summaries.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and change in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to manage multiple overlapping projects end to end in an independent manner without significant oversight.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Proven ability to build strong cross-team relationships.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills - Experience in implementing strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels in a large, matrixed organization.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with meticulous attention to execution details.
