As a CCAR Support Associate within the Financial Compliance Team, you will play a crucial role in the Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review process by ensuring the precision and adherence of financial models and stress tests. Your collaboration with diverse teams will be essential in aligning models with regulatory standards and internal guidelines. Your duties will encompass data analysis, aiding in regulatory submissions, and contributing to the improvement of CCAR methodologies.
Job Responsibilities: - Assist in the development, validation, and maintenance of CCAR financial models.
- Collaborate with the financial modeling group to ensure models meet regulatory and internal standards.
- Gather and analyze data to support stress testing and scenario analysis.
- Prepare and input model results for reporting to the Central Stress Testing team.
- Support the preparation of documentation and narratives for regulatory submissions.
- Ensure compliance of processes and models with federal regulatory standards.
- Work closely with business, finance, and risk management teams to gather data and insights.
- Assist in preparing presentations and reports for senior management and regulatory meetings.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of CCAR processes and methodologies.
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures for CCAR-related activities.
- Coordinate with CCAR Challenger Teams and Model Review groups for model recalibration and validation.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, SAS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities: - Experience with regulatory reporting and compliance.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, risk management, or a related area, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of investment banking products and services.
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
- Familiarity with CCAR, stress testing, and regulatory requirements is a plus.
