Description:

The US Product Implementation team sits within the Client Service and Business Platform organization and is responsible for facilitating the end-to-end program management for large scale and complex initiatives for the range of JPMorgan pooled vehicles which include Mutual Funds, ETFs, Commingled Funds and Private 3c7 Funds. The team manages and oversees a wide array of Fund specific events and activities including the implementation of new fund launches, fund mergers, fund liquidations, fund restructures, mutual fund to ETF conversions and life cycle events. Members of the team also manage the execution of major initiatives impacting the funds including Regulatory and business transformation changes.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and committed individual to join our exciting team and work cross-functionally while managing fund initiatives and leading multiple ongoing workstreams. The US Product Implementation Manager Associate will partner and interface with senior stakeholders across Portfolio Management, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Fund Development, Administration, ETF Platform and Technology as well as internal and third-party vendors that provide various services to the Funds.

Job Responsibilities

  • Independently lead the implementation of fund and client-driven initiatives and manage the end-to-end life cycle for multi-faceted business initiatives that fall within the strategic pipeline
  • Issue resolution - undertake effective issue management practice to ensure timely resolution of key roadblocks, escalating where appropriate
  • Support the re-engineering and enhancement of existing operational and service models to improve scalability, enhance operational controls, and mitigate business risk
  • Liaise with external parties, as appropriate, for successful delivery of the initiative. Key contact points may include client-appointed consultants, custodians, transfer agents, record keepers, outsourced service providers, and transition managers/asset managers
  • Obtain required Committee sign-offs to ensure new operating models can be effectively support by the business in a controlled and scalable manner
  • Secure, lead, motivate and inspire the internal and external resources required to deliver the program and effectively deliver business outcomes for internal and external clients
  • Deliver transformational initiatives with demonstrable improvement in business outcomes
  • Develop and present materials where necessary throughout the project lifecycle
  • Be seen as a subject matter expert for multiple products and portfolios that are of strategic importance to the firm
  • Participate in efforts to respond to regulatory requests and inquiries related to the Funds

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4-8 Financial Service Experience (fund industry experience)
  • Project Management experience required
  • Prior experience in Client Service, Operations or Business Management
  • Product knowledge and understanding of vehicle types including separate accounts, mutual funds, ETFs and commingled pension trust funds
  • Understanding of Institutional operating platforms including experience interfacing with service providers such as custodians, transfer agents and record keepers required
  • Highly collaborative - history of delivering results through organizational partnership with cross-function teams
  • Display strong leadership with the ability to achieve a common understanding and agreement across groups with differing perspectives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical, problem solving skills
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and can execute in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • Strong commitment to continuous professional development and improvement of the team
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
