Job summary:

As a Private Credit Analyst within the Asset Management team, you will support the investment teams based in New York and London. You will assist in the evaluation, execution, and management of private credit investments across three key strategies: primaries, co-investments, and secondaries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with international teams in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the growth and success of a global portfolio.

Job responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and due diligence on potential private credit investment opportunities across primaries, co-investments, and secondaries. Evaluate creditworthiness, risk factors, and return potential to support investment decisions.
  • Assist in the modeling, structuring, and execution of private credit transactions across the three strategies. Collaborate with the investment teams to prepare comprehensive Investment Committee (IC) memos that support informed investment decisions.
  • Monitor and manage existing investments, tracking performance and identifying potential risks. Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Work on preparing and responding to RFPs to raise capital from institutional clients. Partner with internal teams to develop compelling proposals that align with client needs and investment strategies.
  • Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments in the US and globally. Provide insights and recommendations based on market research and analysis, across different private credit strategies.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the asset management team in India, New York, and London to share insights, collaborate on projects, and contribute to the overall success of the global team.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in credit analysis, investment banking, or asset management within the private credit or fund of funds space.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders across different regions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and other MS Office applications.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA) or progress towards CFA is a plus.
