Join JPMorganChase's Agency Securities Finance team and play a pivotal role in maximizing client revenue and advancing our strategic securities lending agenda. As an Agency Securities Lending Trading Associate, you will be at the forefront of market activity, representing our interests within the borrower community and delivering impactful results.
As an Agency Securities Lending Equity Trader, you will own all trading activities and decisions for discretionary lending programs. You will manage borrower relationships, optimize client revenue, and ensure the client lending mandate translates into meaningful opportunities. Your expertise will drive performance and support the wider JPMorganChase strategic securities lending agenda.
Job responsibilities- Be responsible for all trading aspects relating to their market(s)
- Contribute to and exceed year-over-year revenue for their markets (revenue as outlined in yearly plan)
- Communicate potential market and regulatory developments, identifying potential revenue opportunities and acting in a market-facing consultancy/advisory capacity to wider JPM stakeholders
- Maintain close partnerships and communication flows with Borrowers, Product, RM's, IS Sales, Legal and Tax
- Provide timely commentary on any deals/trade opportunities happening/upcoming in their markets
- Act as an SME and "go to person" for their market / cluster of equity lending markets
- Work with operations stakeholders to assist in clearing any operational noise with borrowers (fails monitoring; billing issues; outstanding payments; corporate actions) and feed these into borrower quarterly reviews
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills- 2-4 years of trade support/trading experience within financial industry
- Strong knowledge of financial markets
- Must work well under pressure, possess strong organizational skills and be a self-motivator
- Must be outgoing, confident, and assertive
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to work with global team members and develop partnerships to achieve results
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills- Securities lending experience
- Ability to work problems and issues through to successful resolution
- Ability to work independently
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Bloomberg and Qlik Sense
