As a Senior Associate in the Agency Multifamily Lending - Conventional Screening team, you will be responsible for collaborating with the originations teams across Commercial Real Estate to streamline the process for multifamily Agency loans. Your role also includes establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal business partners such as sales, processing, closing, and legal teams, as well as the Government-Sponsored Agencies.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage a deal pipeline of Agency loans across the country.
  • Review and/or complete preliminary loan sizing templates and approval memos, and provide oversight/training for junior associates/analysts to obtain internal and Agency approval and issue term sheets.
  • Coordinate with origination, internal credit, and Agency to identify/mitigate major key risk to stakeholders and refine/solve any issue with quote.
  • Submit all pertinent documentation in agency and internal origination systems
  • Understand Agency pricing and work with Commercial Real Estate pricing desk for quotes.
  • Handle loan application transitions to the underwriting team,
  • Act as liaison with internal stakeholders and be available for assistance when necessary

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 2+ years of real estate lending with background in Multifamily Agency lending, including credit considerations and financial analysis
  • Strong organizational and execution skills including ability to multitask and work independently across various levels in the organization.
  • Ability to work with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated with strong work ethic and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
