• Associate degree or technical certification in CNC Programming, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
• 2 years programming of CNC turning machines
• M and G code knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret complex Engineering documents

Preferred Qualifications:

• High attention to detail and quality, ability to work in a fast-paced aerospace production environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Basic 6S knowledge
• Experience with machining aerospace fittings or tight-tolerance components preferred.
• Strong understanding of GD& T
• Familiarity with: AS9100 quality systems, First Article Inspection (AS9102) and NADCAP requirements (if applicable).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills and process improvement mindset

Salary Range: $28-38/hour depending on experience

The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs for precision aerospace rings manufactured from bar stock and forgings. This role ensures programs are efficient, repeatable, and compliant with aerospace quality standards (AS9100) while supporting on-time delivery and cost objectives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Optimize cycle times while maintaining dimensional integrity and requirements.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and revise programs to improve yield and reduce scrap.
• Collaborate with Quality to resolve nonconformances and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance to CNC Machinists and Setup Technicians along with training.
• Maintain program documentation, revision control, and backup systems
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
