About the Role: We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients—a leading global software-industrial company specializing in Building Automation—for a Full-Time Lead Field Service Technician. You will play a pivotal role in leading and supporting field service operations to ensure the highest level of service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Reporting directly to the Field Service Supervisor, you will leverage your technical expertise to guide and mentor technicians while managing complex service tasks and troubleshooting on-site issues throughout the Western New York region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor field service technicians to ensure quality and timely service delivery.

  • Perform complex troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair tasks on advanced Building Automation systems.

  • Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.

  • Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of proven experience in field service with a strong technical background in building automation systems.

  • In-depth knowledge of building automation products, controls, troubleshooting techniques, and Fire and Life Safety Devices.

  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software used in field service operations (multimeters, battery testers, diagnostic software).

  • Ability to lead and guide a team of technicians while managing multiple service tasks efficiently.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues on-site.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or a related technical field.

  • Experience with Verifier, CLSS software, or similar industry systems.

  • Experience in leadership or supervisory roles within field service teams.

  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in building automation environments.
