H2M architects + engineers is hiring!

Description:

H2M architects + engineers, a multi-discipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm with multiple offices in NY & NJ seeks qualified interns to work closely with experienced professionals in our CORE of Excellence department .

The intern will be responsible for:
  • Maintain/organize safety training sessions and safety awareness campaigns, including preparing materials, scheduling, and assisting with training assessments.
  • Assist in maintaining and update safety-related records.
  • Support other CORE of Excellence initiatives as needed (BIM/CAD, QA/QC).
  • Provide general administrative and project support to assist various groups of marketing
  • Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:
  • Enrolled as a college sophomore or higher in a related field
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work individually and collaboratively in a team.

The hourly rate for this role is $18.00 - $23.00What to Expect

Our interns work both part time and full time, depending on the group, office, and need of H2M. This is an in-person internship. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in college and are attaining their bachelor's or master's degree. Anyone who is not currently attending college should apply to our full-time positions.

About our Program

For more than 30 years, H2M architects + engineers has offered college students an opportunity to grow through our robust internship program. We have opportunities available in all our office locations. Internships span disciplines including:

  • Civil Engineering, Survey and Landscape Architecture
  • Construction Administration
  • Corporate Services
  • Environmental Services
  • Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Engineering
  • Structural Engineering
  • Wastwater Engineering
  • Water Resources Engineering


Throughout the program, students have the opportunity to work on current projects, proposals, conduct site visits and attend client meetings. During the duration of the program, we offer professional development seminars for resume writing, interview skills and team building exercises.

At the conclusion of internships, each intern will complete a final presentation detailing their achievement of goals, results on projects and what they learned during their time with H2M.
