The Team:

The Hermès Maison Madison Flagship Boutique opened in 1983 and focuses on providing extraordinary service to clients as a part of the New York Region. The Asset Protection Department is responsible for the safety and security of all HOP employees, premises, and product. This position will report to the Area Asset Protection Manager and strive to mitigate risk of loss, safety and security through consistent training and valued partnerships that are both internal and external. We are at the service of our clients (stores, corporate & Dayton) when needed and willingly make ourselves available to these valued partners. We use cutting edge technology to ensure their safety and security.

The Opportunity:

As the Asset Protection Assistant Manager for the Maison Madison Flagship Boutique, you will assume responsibility for the effective implementation of the overall Asset Protection program. Your partnership and timely communication with Maison Madison Management, the Senior Regional Asset Protection Manager, corporate Asset Protection, and the Asset Protection Director will be key in your continued success. You will consistently take measures to mitigate internal and external safety concerns through appropriate and effective training. Your daily responsibility will involve management of vendor guards, to include appropriate scheduling. Maintenance of all AP related equipment. Management of all Asset Protection aspects involving store events.

About the Role:
  • Responsible for the Asset Protection Program in the Maison Madison Flagship Boutique within the respective market.
  • Conducts Physical Security/Asset Protection trainings in partnership with boutique and Sr. RAPM that includes but not limited to: Active Shooter, Armed Robbery, Alarm Response, Safety Compliance & Policy/Procedures.
  • Fire safety program including, but not limited to egress safety, review of ERP plan, emergency evacuation drills.
  • Inspection of fire safety equipment and logs.
  • Investigation of losses-based on theft, cycle counts, inventory and transportation.
  • Support Asset Protection Manager in training initiatives and investigations.
  • Plays an active role in investigating all internal and external investigations, and supports Asset Protection Manager in taking appropriate action based on investigation results.
  • Partners with local Law Enforcement to report any instances of potential external threat.
  • Leadership, coaching and development of AP Supervisors and Specialists within boutique.
  • Supervision of vendor guards and direct reports where applicable.
  • Conducts training of internal team and vendor guards. Highly organized with all AP documentation.
  • Conducts boutique security assessment using AP Checklist.
  • Ensures consistent functionality of all AP equipment in location of responsibility.
  • Management of vendor related concerns.
  • Open flexibility.

  • Yes - coaches and indirectly supervises team of Asset Protection Supervisors and Asset Protection Specialists

About You:
  • 4-5 years AP Management experience in luxury setting.
  • Exemplary partnership.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic investigative skills.

  • Ability to lift 0-25 lbs.


The range for this position is $66, 559.79 to $99, 839.69 annually. Actual rates are determined based on the job, location, and individual experience.
