About Hearst Magazines (Why Us?)

Hearst Magazines is one of the world’s largest publishers of monthly magazines, with more than 30 brands in the U.S. and over 300 international editions. Our global portfolio includes iconic brands such as Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper’s BAZAAR, Men’s Health, Popular Mechanics, and Runner’s World. We reach millions of readers and viewers each month across digital, print, video, and social platforms, creating trusted content that informs, entertains, and inspires.

Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

  • Lead end-to-end campaign execution, guiding programs from pre-sale ideation through post-sale delivery for complex, high-value accounts
  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand goals and develop strategic, data-driven media plans across Hearst’s full portfolio
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Research teams on RFP responses, pitch development, and pre-sale strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and cross-functional teams, serving as a primary point of contact
  • Ensure accuracy and alignment across media plans, insertion orders, and order management systems throughout the campaign lifecycle
  • Oversee campaign launches, timelines, and asset delivery, proactively identifying opportunities for optimization and performance improvement
  • Analyze campaign performance, contribute to wrap reports, and identify upsell and renewal opportunities
  • Mentor junior team members, recommend process improvements, and help evolve products and workflows across the organization

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

  • 5+ years of experience in media planning, account management, or advertising strategy, with a track record of managing complex campaigns
  • Strong understanding of digital media, ad products, and performance metrics, with experience optimizing campaigns for client KPIs
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships, driving renewals and incremental growth
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across Sales, Marketing, Research, and Ad Operations teams
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools for pipeline tracking and account management
  • Familiarity with ad tech platforms and campaign performance tools
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • This role is based in New York City with a hybrid schedule of 4 days per week in the office

Benefits (What We Offer)
