Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

  • Drive programmatic direct (PMP and PG) revenue across an assigned list of holding company accounts, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Cultivate and expand relationships with agency trading desks, DSPs, and key programmatic stakeholders
  • Identify and unlock new revenue opportunities through strategic partnerships and data-driven insights
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with ad product, data, video, and programmatic operations teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Lead sales conversations that articulate Hearst’s premium value proposition in the programmatic marketplace
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and platform developments to inform sales strategy
  • Act as a subject matter expert internally, helping shape the future of Hearst’s programmatic sales approach

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

  • 5+ years of experience in the programmatic media ecosystem (DSP, SSP, trading desk, or agency)
  • Proven track record of driving programmatic revenue and building long-term client partnerships
  • Strong understanding of programmatic buying, PMP/PG deals, and digital advertising trends
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter mindset with a passion for digital marketing and innovation
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, data, and operations teams is a plus
  • Based in New York City with the ability to work in-office 4 days per week (hybrid schedule)

Compensation & EEO

The base salary for this role is $149, 000–$160, 000. This role may also be eligible for additional incentives, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, skills, and market considerations.
