As the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees, you will play a critical role in creating a positive, welcoming experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy engineering office. Responsibilities Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a courteous and professional mannerAnswer and direct incoming phone calls and emailsManage the front desk and maintain a welcoming reception areaCoordinate conference room scheduling and visitor check-insReceive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packagesAssist with office supply inventory and orderingProvide administrative support to office leadership and staffPrepare correspondence, reports, and other business documents as neededCoordinate meetings, appointments, and office eventsPerform data entry, filing, scanning, and other clerical dutiesSupport special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred13 years of receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindsetProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)Strong organizational and multitasking abilitiesAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all timesDetail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
