2nd Shift CNC Machine Supervisor

Position Summary: The CNC Machinist/Supervisor position occupies dual roles. In the primary role as Supervisor, he or she plans and assigns work; provides extensive training; implements policies and procedures including safety, attendance and disciplinary actions; and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. He or she will also participate in hiring new machinists and preparing annual performance reviews. In the secondary role as a senior machinist, he or she is responsible for personally manufacturing production parts or performing setups and teardowns to meet customer requirements. The prioritization and balance of supervision vs. production work will flex as the result of regular discussions between the CNC Machinist/Supervisor and the Director of Manufacturing, based upon the performance and needs of the machinist staff, and the needs of our customers. In addition, he/she is responsible for safeguarding company property and equipment.
