Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Corporate Staff Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. This role is responsible for supporting daily and routine activities, assisting with the month-end close, preparing financial statements and reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies. The ideal candidate has strong accounting and financial reporting fundamentals, demonstrates excellent multitasking capabilities, manages their workload independently, and can effectively support and coordinate with multiple managers. They maintain a high degree of professionalism, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-pace corporate environment. Key Responsibilities - Support cash disbursement process, including assisting with daily banking activities
- Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
- Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations between Corporate and business units, ensuring alignment and consistency across entities, and investigate any variances
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate any variances
- Maintain and update account and legal entity mappings, including initiating edits and structural changes within the Company's consolidation system as necessary
- Prepare internal management reports and respond to ad hoc reporting requests
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures by preparing supporting documentation
- Perform ad-hoc financial reports and projects as assigned
Candidate Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 1-3 years of accounting experience (corporate or public accounting preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience working within ERP/accounting systems, and other Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in a corporate or multi-entity environment
