Salary Range: $22.00 - $24.00

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

The Relationship Associate provides day-to-day customer service support to the GRB’s Commercial clients and Relationship Managers, including establishing new accounts, problem resolution, research, and technical support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide day-to-day support of the bank’s commercial clients through the following:

  • Exemplify the GRB Experience by maintaining a high degree of professionalism while providing outstanding customer service to the bank’s clients
  • Communicate with Commercial clients via email and telephone, depending on client needs
  • Research and resolve miscellaneous client loan and deposit account inquiries
  • Provide backup technical support/troubleshooting for clients related to Cash Management products and services
  • Work closely with Relationship Managers in establishing new deposit accounts for Commercial clients
  • Perform account updates as requested by clients and Relationship Managers
  • Prepare and process client transaction requests including wire transfers, loan pay downs, line of credit draws, account transfers and bank checks
  • Prepare loan and deposit account maintenance requests and provide to Operations
  • Review Insufficient Funds activity and update report daily
  • Perform follow up on past due commercial loans
  • Review various customer data reports (money market exceeding withdrawals, negative deposit account balance) and ensure follow-up with customer for resolution
  • Process deposits through mail in an accurate, efficient manner compliant with bank policies and procedures
  • Maintain and review customer data in the nCino system, including deposit accounts and email tracking

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS

  • Cross-sell Commercial relationships where applicable
  • Respond to requests for credit inquiries
  • Prepare invoice payments for all commercial check orders
  • Assist Relationship Managers in clearing loan exceptions
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma /GED (Associates Degree preferred) with a minimum of 1year of banking experience Commercial banking experience preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
