US Corporates - Credit Analyst, Director - Sports (Technology, Media & Telecom)

The Director position within the Telecommunications, Media, and Technology Group at Fitch Ratings is a pivotal role that involves leading the analysis of sports transactions. This groupis responsible forcovering a diverse range of sports and corporate credits based out of our Austin, New York, Chicagoand Toronto office.

Qualitative credentials will weigh meaningfully in theselectionof the candidate. A healthy sense of intellectual curiosity is critical, along with a willingness and ability to attack and explain topics of analytical complexity. Fitch is a team-oriented work environment, so excellent communication skills are essential, as is a high productivity work-ethic andresults orientedmindset.

What You Need to Have:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • CFA/CPA or CFA candidate preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Advanced Excel and Word skills
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Relevant Sports and TMT experience a plus

  • Buy-side, sell-side, bankor rating agency credit experience

FOR NEW YORK AND CHICAGO ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150, 000 and $175, 000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
