Description:

JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Analyst will be responsible for preparing sales reports, maintenance of pricing and other sales operations files. Provides services to the sales department and customers by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES: include the following


• Answers questions for the sales department and provides the requested information.
• Reads correspondence from customers to determine their needs.
• Prepares reports for presentations to management.
• Assist Accounts Receivable in determining validity of customer deductions.
• Responsible to maintain customer conditions file.
• Calculates, validates, and updates customer rebate amounts in the ERP system and conditions file.
• Reviews broker and customer contracts received from sales department and updates records accordingly.
• Maintains, prepares, and creates customer pricelists for foodservice and retail channels on as needed basis.
• Maintains active customer pricelists in ERP system.
• Maintains and creates Indirect end customer in the ERP system.
• Maintains and creates Indirect end customer in the ERP system.
• Assists Customer Service in determining validity of price discrepancies.
• Maintains Sales Operations maintenance files including costings and item product lists.
• Develops Growth Incentive Programs based on customer needs.
• Helps with the onboarding of Sales Force by performing other duties as required.
• Assists AR with calculations to determine correct commission amounts based on customer purchases.
• Prepares customized reports for Sales Department based on individualized requests.
• Prepares reports including sales dollars and case movements to include only a Salesman’s customers, a particular region, grouping of stores, or a broker’s customers.
• Furnishes brokers with requested information to help facilitate management of business.
• Prepares profitability reports to sales department on quarterly basis to help drive profits.
• Requests movement reports from customers to better understand the direction of sales for customer.
• Maintains Rebate file and prepares rebate letters as needed for customers.
• Uses Tableau capabilities to generate sales reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis to salesmen and management to showcase movement as well as sales dollars.
• Develop and maintain complex database that produces customized reports based on needs of both Sales Department and management.


• Attends company scheduled meetings when applicable (i.e., safety meetings, production meetings, department meetings.).


• Informs supervision of any problems or complications that may arise.


• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.


• Other duties may be assigned as a normal practice.


In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
• Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
• Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments. Must follow all Company Safety policies, as well as all GMP regulations and all lock-out/tag-out requirements according to OSHA requirements.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally push and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.


QUALIFICATIONS:


- EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of associate degree with 5 years analytical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience and training.


- LANGUAGE SKILLS:
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Must be able to effectively communicate with individuals possessing various degrees of technical expertise. Bilingual a plus


- SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently.


REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation
