  • Strong passion for improving H& S performance and proven experience delivering impactful program solutions.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with adaptability and comfort navigating ambiguity.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.

  • Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.

Preferred

  • Master's degree preferred, such as Master's Public Health or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience preferred in safety and risk management, occupational health, industrial hygiene, culture/leadership programs, or sustainable H& S compliance initiatives.

  • Possess or pursuing professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or similar credential.

  • Experience supporting or leading client engagements within a consulting environment.

  • Demonstrated capability in developing H& S strategies, management systems, and advanced risk reduction programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct incident investigations, develop corrective actions, validate controls, and support root cause analyses with client leadership.

  • Develop job hazard analyses, job safety assessments, and occupational health–focused work instructions.

  • Interpret qualitative and quantitative IH data compared to OSHA PELs and ACGIH TLVs; recommend exposure mitigation strategies.

  • Strengthen and expand ERM’s H& S service offerings through opportunity identification, proposal preparation, and client relationship development.

  • Lead and design outcome‑focused programs in areas such as industrial hygiene, safety culture, leadership, serious injury and fatality prevention, process safety, and high‑impact training.

  • Manage teams, mentor talent, and contribute to the success and growth of ERM’s technical community.

  • Oversee project scopes, budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure high-quality client outcomes.
